Learn About How Our Founders' Journey Began
Inspired by my daughter Malia and in memory of cherished family members—my mother Renae Barth, grandmother Carol Wald, grandfather Norman Barth, Aunt Shannon Barth, and dear friend Luis Ortiz—Brave Hearts Children's Network Inc. was born. These individuals' legacies inspire our mission to support families facing congenital heart defects (CHD). My journey with congenital heart disease and Malia's battles with Truncus Arteriosus Type One with Mapcas highlight the challenges and resilience involved. We are dedicated to providing a supportive community, celebrating triumphs, and ensuring no family faces their journey alone, fueled by love and the strength of our shared stories.
